In 1997 Vauxhall began providing LPG Autogas ready vehicles for the UK market, and they are Congestion Charge Free. The vehicles were converted to the highest standards and were completely homologated. Due to the poor uptake of gaseous fuelled vehicles by the UK public, Vauxhall supplied only 9000, the project was shelved in 2005. Retro fitting of the factory approved system to Vauxhalls can still be carried-out by a few companies like us, up and down the country. Arun Autogas Vauxhall LPG conversions The "Off the shelf" factory fit components are vehicle specific, the list of suitable vehicles is restricted to the petrol four cylinder models. The only current vehicles suitable are the Astra / Astravan and the Corsa / Combo. Other LPG commercial vehicles available, like the Citroen Berlingo and Fiat Doblo. Of the previous models those fitted with the 1.4 litre 8 valve(v), 1.6 litre 8v and 16v can be converted give us a ring on 01903 715 715 Astravan & Astra (the car version), are both excellent candidates for lpg conversion. provides a range of over 250 miles before the system automatically
returns to using petrol.
Larger tank can be fitted internally, giving a range of over 500 miles between fills. |

compared to the diesel, or up to 44% if you can bunker at base.
No staff can pilfer fuel unless they run an LPG vehicle. |
