LPG unlike petrol can be supplied without the burdens of "road duty" taxation and also receives a lower VAT surcharge. This is only available for people who are using petrol engines off the road.

At present road LPG - Autogas has 9 pence per litre road duty and is subjected to 17.5% VAT. 

Duty free fuel incurs only 8% VAT......

Fork lift trucks have used LPG for years. Many companies already have bulk filling facilities to fill their FLT bottles with duty free fuel.
