AAG* are delighted to be asked to fit the Ashwoods Hybrid Drive, to the RWD Transits.

In Aug 2008, Ashwoods announce that they “will be the first to bring an emissions tested new Hybrid Drive technology to the market.” They have been working with Ford on their Transit model on a retro-fit hybrid system that achieves more than 25% CO2 reduction on both petrol and diesel models. This can relate to a substantial fuel use reduction and cost saving.

The system can be installed in less than a day and is specifically designed to use existing holes and fixings on any vehicle it is fitted to, we don’t even need to open the bonnet! This means there are no fears for residual value and it does not interfere with any of the original components of the vehicle. Moreover, unlike other products, the system can be easily moved from one vehicle to another without needing to replace any parts. The Ashwoods Hybrid Drive system uses the latest LIPO 4 cell technology and ultra efficient motor generator for assist and regenerative braking.
