We cannot accept any responsibility for faulty ignition components on any vehicle, which may need to be replaced. These comprise of coil packs, HT leads and spark plugs. Although there are very few problems that occur with LPG installations, there are some engines that have been known to have experienced issues in the past. We endeavour to bring it to your attention if you have an engine that is in a higher risk category, but we cannot be held responsible if your installation causes problems with your engine that are beyond our control. Please note that we shall not, under any circumstances, be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages to the engine of any kind from the installation, or use of an LPG system.
Some of the engines that have been known
to experience problems are
- Ford 1.8l - between 1998-2005.
- Vauxhall 1.8 VVTi, 2005-2011.
- Honda 1.8, 1999-2004.
- Toyota 1.8 VVTi, 2.4 VVTi, 3.4 & 4.7 engines, 1999-2004.
- Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged, 2003-2010
We will fit a valve lubrication system on request to any vehicle that we believe may require it due to the possibility of valve seat recession occuring. We strongly recommend valve lubrication systems to be fitted to any Suzuki, Toyota, Nissan, Honda or Hyundai engine. Supercharged Range Rovers will require electronic valve saver.
We offer a two year warranty with all installations. Vehicles must be brought to one of our workshops for work to be carried out. Deposits are non refundable unless we are given more than 4 days notice before conversion date. This is because equipment will have already been ordered and workshop time allocated for the job.
Please note we require the car for 3-6 days to ensure the work is completed to our satisfaction. Before work commences kindly arrange for your vehicle to be cleaned externally and mechanically prior to its delivery. The benefit of this is to avoid the ingress of dirt into your engine during conversion. In some cases we may require a digital photograph of the engine to be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm that we are able to complete the installation.
If the above is agreeable we will ask
to sign and date our vehicle status form when you deliver the vehicle.
with this request you are authorising Arun Autogas to undertake a
contract to commence work to your vehicle.
